Visa appointment slots don’t trickle in — they appear for a few minutes and then they’re gone. Refreshing a booking page by hand, dozens of times a day, is how most people try to catch one. It rarely works, because the slot is usually taken by someone else before a human even notices the page changed.
What to watch
Any consulate or visa-processing portal your agent can check on a schedule: VFS Global, BLS International, TLScontact, or a government booking site. What matters is how fast the alert reaches you once a slot appears — not how often the page is checked.
How to set it up
BreakPass doesn’t watch the visa portal itself — a bot, script, or scheduling agent you set up does that. Once it spots an opening, it sends the alert to your BreakPass link:
- If you already use a slot-checking script or a third-party slot-alert service, point its notification at your BreakPass webhook link or email address instead of, or alongside, its own alerts.
- If you’re briefing an AI agent to check the page for you, tell it exactly what counts as a match — visa type, city and date range — and to alert you the moment it finds one.
- For a family or group applying together, add everyone’s verified number so nobody has to relay the news.
Tips
- Ask for both a WhatsApp message and a call for this one. A slot can close within minutes, and a call is harder to miss than a message.
- Give your agent your exact acceptable date range up front — you want fewer, better alerts, not one for every slot that doesn’t work for you.
- Have your booking login and documents ready before you set this up. The alert only buys you a head start; you still need to move fast when it arrives.
- If your agent supports it, ask it to try the booking itself and only alert you to confirm — but check what your visa service’s terms allow before automating the booking step.
